Welcome to GRuB!

We post current announcements on this page.  You can learn more about our programs by following the links on the navigation bar above.

If you or someone you know has a large pickup (especially with a dumper!), we are in immediate need!

Our trusty KGP dumper has temporarily kicked the bucket in the middle of our garden build season.  If you are in a position to loan a truck to GRuB that is capable of hauling (and ideally dumping!) 2.5 yds of soil wheelbarrows & lumber, please call us as soon as you can!  360-753-5522

Request for Proposal: GRuB 3-Minute Promo Video

GRuB has been doing powerful community work with youth & families for over 14 years. We would love the opportunity to showcase that work with groups near and far through the use of a 3-minute promotional video. We have hours and hours of video footage on hand that includes powerful testimonials from youth in our employment program. We are looking for someone to compile and edit this footage, along with some additional new footage to be taken during the spring of 2010 of our garden-building and education programs. The final product may also incorporate music and other images & creative elements. We are looking to have this project completed within 4-6 months, depending on the level of additional footage required.

PROPOSAL DEADLINE: March 15, 2010

"CY 101": GRuB's Cultivating Youth Summer Employment Program Institute

Join us at the GRuB Farm as we share 14 years of experience building an empowering summer youth employment program.

Who is this for? Folks who already have an organization/project and are looking for ways to engage youth in empowering relationships and meaningful work will find this most impactful. If you don't yet have an organization/project, these institutes will be useful for skill-building and networking. However, the focus will be on the planning, administration, and delivery of a youth program rather than on how you would actually start an organization (we hope to offer this at future institutes!). GRuB is always in need of new or gently used farm and farmhouse supplies. Please take a look at our wish-list for current needs!
