Giving Gardens

The gift of a garden truly keeps on giving!

A KGP garden brings beauty to the backyard of a family in need -- it brings fresh organic produce to the kitchen table and a sense of pride that comes from growing and becoming self-sufficient. A full KGP garden can be given in your name for as little as $300. This includes a site visit and design, 3 raised beds, a bean trellis, fertile soil, seeds, starts, a gardening guide, and the opportunity to work with a garden mentor.

When you give a garden, you will receive a "Certificate of Giving" in your name, or the name of someone special. This can make a very unique gift. Gardens can also be given in the memory of a loved one.

If you are unable to give a full garden, there is also the opportunity to give a Garden-Share. One raised-bed costs $100 and can grow quite a lot of fresh veggies! Or, you can give a donation of any amount to the Kitchen Garden Project, and 100% will go towards building free gardens.
