Tending Our Wild Hearts: Rose, Strawberry, and Hawthorne Medicine

In May, wild strawberries cover open fields like tiny jewels; wild roses bloom in abundance; and hawthorn flowers unfurl in their full glory. Embrace the bounty of the season by learning to identify, harvest, and prepare these medicines that nurture and protect our cardiovascular system. We will also explore the rich cultural and spiritual traditions around these plants. Participants will create and take home samples of a happy heart tea, a berry shrub, infused rose honey, and a toner for skin health.

Taught by Elise Krohn.

$30/person. Registration is required. Register online or call 360-753-5522.
