Driven by the belief that everyone deserves nutritious food and a place at the table, GRuB (Garden Raised Bounty)'s mission is to grow healthy food, people, and community. GRuB works at the intersection of food, education, and health systems. With roots in the land, we create opportunities for people to learn, lead, and thrive. We envision an equitable world where we are all nourished by healthy relationships, resilient community, and good food. GRuB serves 1,500 people annually and we work with people whose individual circumstances, social or historical context have led to food disparities, especially when linked to isolation from community and the land.
There are so many ways to give back to your community by volunteering with GRuB! As a volunteer, you will build deep relationships with people and the land, help to plant and grow healthy delicious food for the community, help cultivate community leaders, and get your hands dirty!
