Medicinal mushrooms have many health benefits to offer, particularly for immunity. This webinar will focus on basic cultivation, preparation, and clinical use of key medicinal mushrooms, including reishi, turkey tail, lion's mane, and maitake. Participants will receive instructions for growing and preparing medicinal mushrooms, recipes, and a basic working knowledge of how to use them for personal and family health.

We are offering sliding scale for this workshop, no one is turned away. Pay what works for your budget, we understand that folks are really impacted by the economic shift due to COVID-19.

Presenter bio:

Renee Davis MA RH is a designer and educator in botanical and mycological medicine. Her training began at the Pratt Institute of Art and Design in New York City and concluded in biomedical sciences at the University of Washington. She currently directs research and development for a nutraceutical mushroom company in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has appeared in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine, the American Botanical Council, Face the Current, Journal of the American Herbalists Guild, and Pulse: Voices from the Heart of Medicine. She is based in Olympia, WA–land of the Nisqually, Chehalis, and Squaxin Indigenous Nations.

This class will be taught on Zoom online conferencing – a free platform. Participants will need wifi internet and to download Zoom application on a computer or mobile device before class. You will receive information on how to login to class with your registration.
