**Postponed** Roots Multicultural Training

** Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, Roots has been postponed and will be rescheduled for later in the year

Please join us for GRuB's Roots multicultural training!

If you have ever been curious about 'the magic' of GRuB or wondered what the skills are that help people to build and grow successful community, this is the series for you! In Roots training, we'll cover topics such as acknowledging and honoring differences, multiculturalism, and practical interpersonal tools such as active listening. Roots will help you understand GRuB's community building and anti-oppression approach and you will leave with a set of tools which are applicable to your own families, schools, organizations, and beyond.

This workshop is the prerequisite training in GRuB's Roots, Shoots & Fruits multicultural series. The training is free for GRuB program participants and volunteers and $50 per person for the general public. Bring a sack lunch and GRuB will provide snacks, tea and coffee. Babes-in-arms are welcome and we don't yet have childcare for older children.

ACCESSIBILITY: There is a wheelchair ramp and accessible parking spot in front of the farmhouse and the workshop is held in our ADA accessible downstairs classroom. Material covered verbally will come with paper copies for reference and to take home. There will be chairs and space available for standing/movement. People of all abilities and Caregivers are invited and welcome. Please let us know if you need specific accommodations.
