Our priority for garden building in 2020 is to raise resources for those with the highest food insecurity during this time. Fifty households were selected earlier this year for our free backyard garden program and all received wooden raised beds and other gardening support this spring.
Our intention is to continue fundraising and garden building throughout 2020, so that we can gift gardens to as many people as possible! If you’d like to gift a garden to someone else, please consider joining our Lettuce Build Gardens campaign! For every $250 raised, we will gift an additional garden.
If you are interested in getting a garden, here’s what we have to offer during the rest of 2020. All gardeners receive a selection of seeds & seedlings, the GRuB Growing Guide, and access to workshops and the garden support team (via phone or Zoom, until we begin in person programming).
