With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Jacinto Dyson. Jacinto was a key contributor and craftsperson behind the creation of GRuB’s Community Seed Shed.  

Each year, GRuB solicits donations of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds from generous, regional seed companies. We make these seeds available to community groups and individuals, especially for those with scarce financial resources.  Before the Community Seed Shed, access to these free seeds was limited to GRuB’s business hours, a challenging time conflict for many people.

Jacinto gifted his time and talent to the GRuB community when he helped design and build our beautiful and practical Community Seed Shed, giving the community 24/7 access to seeds.

We are grateful for Jacinto’s love of community and construction and the legacy he gifted all of us.
