We are so grateful for such a warm and enthusiastic audience at this year's Harvest Soirée! We hope you loved the program as much as we did. Your generous support generated 80% of GRuB’s fundraising goal. That’s nearly $60 thousand dollars that we will use this coming year to grow healthy food, people, and community.
Speaking of community, this year's Soirée was all about the community GRuB is rooted in and growing. That's why we were thrilled to feature two of our program partners in our program this year: the Haki Farmers Collective and KinderGarden in the Garden. Here in Olympia, any local Soirée attendees purchased meals through Chef Khurshida and ASHHO’s Buy One, Give One program- because of them, 62 hot meals will be donated to community members on September 29th. If you’d like to learn more about ASHHO’s Cultural Community and Job Training Center, their Buy One, Give One program, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We encourage you to learn more about their work and to support their programs as well!
Thank you for joining our second virtual fundraiser and for being involved with GRuB. Almost 300 people registered for the event this year, and we are humbled and so grateful for your response.
Thank you for helping make the place we call home a more joyful, connected, and healthy place.
