Come join GRuB's Growing Home Collective to celebrate Juneteenth, the day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Black people in 1865 in the United States. Our Juneteenth is a community celebration that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Black people in 1865 in the United States. Activities include a history timeline, art and storytelling, a farm procession with songs and music, and culminates with a feast to celebrate community ancestral foodways on the land. Join our family friendly gathering to learn, grow, and connect! Hosted by GRuB's Growing Home Collective, which celebrate and uplift Black wisdom, community, healing, ancestral food knowledge and culture on the land. Juneteenth is American history! Open to people of all backgrounds and we welcome Black and ADOS youth, veterans and alumni of GRuB's programs.

This event takes place outside, so dress for the weather. Email kerensa@goodgrub.org for any questions or special accommodations.
