Join the Tend, Gather, & Grow Community of Teachers!

Immerse yourself in the wondrous world of plants. A dynamic team of educators will share lessons, games, art activities, Salish stories, and other educational tools that build “the art of noticing.” How can we wake up the inner storyteller and artist? How can we help students engage all of their senses and attune with the gifts of the seasons? Teachers will learn tips for both teaching outside and bringing nature into the classroom. Each participant will receive:

- Hands-on experience identifying, harvesting, and using wild plants
- Samples of wild foods and plant medicines
- Lunch from the GRuB Farm
- Continuing education credits for teachers
Instructors include Kim Gaffi, Charlie Sittingbull, Annie Brule, Elise Krohn, and Tamar Krames. The cost for this event is $300
